deformed ugly ass Safari Mix

:?:So basically i was out of good seeds and all i had left was some Safari Mix bonus seeds from my previous Mandala orders. Im guessing that they are about 4 years old and I haven't properly stored them in the fridge or anything. I tried to germ a few and got nothing. then i waited for a full moon and to try germing the last 3 seeds i had and i got two to just barely germ. I planted them and they grew very slow and looked pretty ugly but i figured once they get good and established they would take off and turn into beautiful plants like anything else i've grown from mandala. not really the case though, i dont like the way they're growing, they're not as fast and vigorous as mandala stuff usually is (they also look hideous as well). im thinking this is genetic drift from the seeds being so old and not properly stored. maybe they loose they're desirable traits and attributes and genetic mutations/errors occur. Im just wondering if anyone else has grown out old seeds and got ugly ass plants and if so did you finish them and get good results? i think im just gonna chop these plants and use the space for something else. heres some pics, they're about two and half weeks old right here. notice the big clubbed fan leaves on one, it reminds me of the strain "Ducksfoot".

I agree with mother's. I never kill my children unless they are boys... even some of those live. You may end up with some of the best shiz you ever grew, despite how it appears.

Let 'em grow, man. I've seen a friends' OG take three months to reach it's fourth node, but once flowering started that plant exploded and is now one of the nicest OG's I know of. Just a very slow initial veg.

those leaf mutation sshould go away...and you will be left with a nice plant im guessing. Id leave it to grow an see.

that fat leaf one looks alot like the hashberry my brother grew a few years ago.

If they're the way you want them then what's the problem.
They dont look at all like Mandala plants should, they're deformed. these pictures dont really do justice to how ugly these plants are. Im just wondering if this could be similar to the genetic drift theory from multiple generations of clones (where they eventually develop mutations and lose they're desirable traits). I'd just hate to put the time and resources into these plants and end up with sub par results when I know if that if I chop these now I can put something else in their place. but who knows maybe they'll turn out great. has anyone else grown out really old seeds and noticed a difference in the plants?

i grew some old blueberry seeds before....i had some weerdos but then again i got the weerd plants with healthy seeds to. the only diff i noticed was germ rates declined with the old seeds.

Yesterday i came extremely close to throwing these plants away, but now i think i'll just grow them out and see what happens. If i were to chop em now then i'll never know what their outcome would have been and i wouldn't learn anything from it.

Shit thats what i thought too, i've been worrying about how embarrassing it would be if the cops busted me and saw these ugly ass plants, they would undoubtedly burst into laughter and start teasing me while im sitting there in hand cuffs. but now that these plants have got all well established their new growth looks really good, like typical mandala stuff. so i've decided that after they show sex im gonna take a clone of the female(s) and start over with that. Im thinking it will grow and look like a proper plant. for me it makes sense to do this now because she is gonna go outside this year and if i keep em growing in their current state they're gonna get too big for my little grow box before its time for them to go out (by then sharing with two or three champagne widow mother plants and one or two 28 plant aero cloners).
