Delaying Flowering

Anyone know of any techniques for inhibiting flowering responses? Trying to keep the plants in veg just a bit longer than nature wants. Something along the lines of using a PGR or enzyme cocktail to suppress the flowering signals.

Autos have a timeline and will flower well...automatically. No stopping an auto from flowering. Photoperiods can be kept in veg for as long as you want with an 18/6 light cycle.

Any idea how to ask the plant to wait just a bit longer? Delaying the auto flower response, or suppressing the 12/12 flower response using PRG's?

Good question. It appears that synthetic pgr’s would inhibit the growth your hoping for by a longer veg. So it wouldn’t do what you would like. Also a quick google it appears that pgr’s aren’t suitable for consumable food crops. They are considered a pesticide and were banned in the 70’s. I’d be wary of using them. However maybe someone knows of a healthier alternative...? My understanding of the ruderalis strain used in autos it’s around 3 weeks until flower. I’ve had some janky strains that take longer and some needed 12/12 to start the flowering. Personally I don’t mess with them anymore. I’d rather have more control.
