Designs needed!

Alright everyone, i have a basement room I'm constructing, the measurements are 12x10, the front left corner (roughly 8x5) is not useable space unless i wanna store supplies under the staircase.

So i virtually have a reverse L shaped room that measures roughly 12x5 one the long run and the other section roughly 4x5 or so.

Can anyone draw me a couple layouts or ideas of how i could best utilize this space?

I plan on doing dwc autos for now, more than likely will eventually switch back to photos but for ease of use not yet.

LED lighting (will need to upgrade, i only have a light for a 3x4 area at the moment from my previous cabinet grows)

I know i will need some sort of ventilation and air movers, i do have a section of this room that i should be able to run duct work all the way up to the attic in a straight shot without it ever being visible.

So lemme see what you got if you're willing to help me expand from my norm.
A list of must haves and placements would be great, sketches or drawing even better if possible.

Thanks in advance you guys have been awesome for years!

Draw a floor plan showing unusable area, windows, doors, stair cases, chimneys and any ventilation possibilities.

What are your goals? A single harvest at a time or a staggered perpetual grow?

What are the temps like down there and what is your climate like from winter to summer?

If this is your house build it to code and keep in mind the next buyers might not care you can grow something in the basement. Meaning use that space under the stairs for organized storage. Build it wet so a bath or washroom could be made. Especially with wiring!!

Not sure about veg, clones. seedlings and such...because you didn't tell us.

But your long skinny room could really make use of a light mover. I love them and have used them in every grow in the last 20 years.

The light rail is Colorado built and they really stand by their customers. Basic unit is just over 6' and with the 3' addon kit...you'd be perfect for coverage from two lamps over that nearly 50 sq ft space.

The other room is more like a 4x4 tent. Ventilation and air movement are a must in a basement grow.

Ventilation and air circulation is what I've been doing most of my research on... I've decided to save on upfront cost and get a couple 1000w hps for the room and expand as i am able to use the whole room... light movers are an interesting thought.

I have wiring already in the basement, i have a water source across from the room and will probably toss a laundry tub style sink there for ease of refilling buckets.

I think i will probably try to do single harvests rather than perpetual grow. I work a lot so needing to work on it multiple days a week other than routine maintenance is a tough one.

I think ventilation and plant area usage unset a 1000w hps are my biggest questions now regarding layout

Bk,
Only thing about those 1000s is the headroom required. You can't get them too close to the canopy. I'm talking 25" to 30" so you really need to look at headroom.

And you can't properly light a 12' space with 1 light. Two 600s would be better.
