Determining gender.... HELP!

My plants have been on 12-12 for the last 4 days and a couple look like they are doin something at the node.. could it be leaves? or is it for sure the preflower? sorry no pics.. they are about 9 inches tall if that helps any..

also can i put them back on vegetative and still have the males develop early enough to get em out of there before i get seeds? Thank you for any help!!

4 days can be kind of early to tell even with a heavy-duty magnifying glass. You really need to post pics for us to help

I think its too soon to tell. don't worry they will probably show soon.

too early to tell -- i would not switch them back to veg - if you want to do it "right" take clones from all your plants and keep them accurately labeled. you can weed out the males after switching to 12/12 when you are ready to flower them.
