Devil Cream Auto original seed vs the seeds that popped.

So this post is just a general FYI. I had an amazing crop of Sweet Seeds Devils Cream Auto several months ago. Short stocky amazing lil’ things.

One of them stressed an popped a few seeds. I decided to plant them outside as a matter of interest. They females are crazy seedy and about 1 meter tall.The emit a strong pungent smell. Nothing “fruity” like the original crop.

The males are about twice the height and serious amount of pollen is released when touched.

I found it interesting how a single generation reverts back to nature… so to speak.

You got males seeds from a female plant that self pollinated?

I should have mentioned the Devil Cream was an Auto. I edited my post.

Doesnt really matter if it is an auto or not.
It is unusual to get anything other than female seeds from a stressed self pollinated female

You are allowing a male plant to spew pollen outdoors....

Your the neighbor all us outside growers want to find and beat up.

I did not know this. Out of the 3 pots and 20 or so plants about 50% of them are males.

This may be a silly question. Is it possible that the reason the stressed auto produced male seeds is because it was in contact with some foreign ouside pollen when starting to flower? Or are auto's completely unaffected by pollen?
