Did I cause PM?

Doing a hydro drip system with just 1 plant atm. It is about 3 weeks into veg. I seen 1 orange spider mite and a leaf that looked like it had taken spider mite damage so i sprayed it with "BAYER ADVANCED Natria Insect Disease & Mite Control." Afterwards, because I was sort of in a panic I guess I read this was better done at night, which isn't what I did. Was this product even safe in the first place to use on my plant?

Did I cause powdery mildew or is this just a stain from the miticide even though what I used is supposed to prevent PM? I followed the given instructions on the label but it wasn't very specific.

looks like you just have some dried insectiside and burn marks, just gently wipe the tops of the leaves with a soft damp sponge preferably just when the lights are about to go off to prevent more burn

alright, thanks. I'm currently doing 24/0 for veg. Going 20/4 for a day then back to 24/0 shouldn't hurt anything right?

well just try and keep it as dry as possible, make sure theres no beads of water left on the leaves, thats fine but IMHO its a watse of electricity to have them in any more light than 18/6 but its debated if it is any use to the plants or not
