Did I mess up light schedule by moving plants?

My buddy brought over two potted soil plants that had been outdoors up until last night to put under my lighting system. They're both female and one has some nice buds starting with probably 5 - 10% of the hairs orange/brown, and the other is a clone of the first plant and has very small flowers starting.

The plants were already in 12/12 or something close to that lighting outdoors and as a result of transfer were exposed to plenty of light during it's natural dark period. The lights were probably on for a good hour or two. Now they're in 12/12, lights go on at 7 AM and off at 7 PM and I have no plans to bother them anymore.

My main question is, did we fuck up the plants? The only alternative was to leave them outside to freeze or transfer them during the day which would arouse attention.

Also, I have a T-5 Badboy with 6 tubes. I read in the grow bible that you can flower with fluorescent but you'll have light, airy buds. Is this true, because I want dense, compact buds and already spent $500 on this light cause someone told me it was good. Also with the excess heat, any light that puts out any more heat will prob make my grow space 100F+, it's already 85 with the BadBoy.

Last question is, I had a small, disfigured and dwarfed plant with very slow growth, since the female plants in flower came over and I have no where else to put this plant, I figured I might as well flower it too as see if it's m/f. The plant has been growing only since early Aug. and is like 4-5 in tall, is this a bad idea?

They'll be fine, too far along into flower for light to screw them up now. As far as your little one, you can flower is as long as the 4th node has grown out.

ok no you didn't put your plant into shock as long as you switched it over fast. because the plant will now adapt to this enviorment that it was switched 2 unless you kept the lights the same hours outside then no biggie. for bigger denser buds you would have to go with HPS. and for the temp. you need to get a air flow going.. 100f sounds like a room with no air flow.. i have my room door closed with no a/c unit just my house air flowing through and i maintain 78 degrees to 82. + i have an exhaust forgot to add that.

Thanks, are there any photos you know of bud grown purely with fluorescent? Is it a waste of time/money/risk in your opinion or will I still get a lot of smokable, quality product as long as everything else is done right?

Temp is usually high 70s to mid 80s. It's all set up in a 5'x5'x6' wood frame that has mylar walls stapled to it and no roof, it gets really hot in there compared to the rest of the basement. I have a 50 CFM bathroom fan installed inside the frame with tubing to blow out the hot air and also have a fan inside but does nothing for the temp. I'm just hoping it'll get colder sooner outside because I have no A/C.

If you go to the CFL section you will see many grows using cfl lighting. The buds are fluffy and not nearly as dense but it can be done. For a personal medical grow it is fine. If you are looking to supply more than yourself, that is another matter.

CFLs are ok and will work fine, interupting dark period can stress your plants.

The t-5 lights are fine and the plants should be OK as well. Get the plants on a 12/12/ schedule and keep it that way through flowering. A few hours of light interruption will not hurt your plants if it is infrequent.

I love T-5s, I use them for cloning. Everything to its own purpose.

try installing another exhaust fan if you don't have a/c that should help drop the temp another 3-5 degrees. and running CFL's will be helpful for maintaining the temp to stay a low temp. since they don't put off alot of heat. Unlike HID's
