Hello
I just finished transplanting from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon bucket and I was wondering if I ovewatered? I waited until the plant in the 1 gallon pot was completely dry and ready for watering and then I transplanted into a 5 gallon bucket. I have holes drilled in the bottom of the bucket for drainage so im not worried about that. I watered the plant in the new 5 gallon bucket with about roughly a 1.5 gallons of distilled water. Ive never watered in a 5 gallon so I kinda didnt have a rough estimate of how much to put in. The water didnt drain out of the bottom for a while so I kept pouring and then I waited a bit and about five minutes later it started to come out of the bottom and now its been coming out for about 8-10 minutes. Did I overwater? Did I most likely wash away the majority of the nutes in the soil? Im using Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Im about a few days to flipping the light schedule to12/12. I was just going to wait until the plant has recovered from any shock and has settled into its new home to flip the schedule. If anyone has advice or insight on this, a comment would be GREATLY appreciated!!
