I had to super crop because these plants were in 12/12 light since they were planted in the dirt, so they started pre flower way early. This is only my second grow and also my first 12/12 grow.
Well I didn't know it was wayyyy too late to top the plants and I pretty much ended up lopping off my cola LMAO!
Here is an example of how much I set back the colas...
Here is The top of one of the plants
Here is another bud on the same plant (way further along than the main cola lol I fucked the colas so bad)
So they pretty much went crazy and bushed out upwards. Instead of forming two main good looking lead tops, if you look those two leads are there but hidden by ass loads of lateral branching. Here is a better view of exactly what I am talking about.
The lines are the Lead branches
Here are more examples of the tops going crazy
So now the top buds are barely forming while other buds down lower already formed and started throwing out pistils. Also you can see how skinny the top stems are because they are fairly new.
Does anyone think the colas will catch back up to the res of the plant or will they never be as big as they would have been now? The guy I talk to said they will never produce to full potential now, they might get big but not as big as they could have gotten.
Also will the super cropping help plump up the under developed colas quicker when they heal?
