Diesel Ryder Seeds (autoflower) help

:-( Hi everybody. Hope someone can help. My buddy grew DR a few times (organic grow)and has had no issues. So on his last grow (using fresh organic soil) he pollenated to get DR seeds. The seeds turned out fine and look completely normal. The thing is is that the seeds don't want to germinate using various methods and the few that have germinated won't grow. One of them is 5 weeks in and about 3" tall but looks perfectly healthy and is flowering now. Others are 3-4 weeks in and have only a few leaves but they look healthy as well. The only thing I can think of is that he reused the soil but, he did replace half with fresh organic soil (same brand) and siffted the older part of the soil to get the old fine roots out from the last grow. His lighting, temps., and humidity are all good. So we both went back to basics retraced the steps but can not figure out what went wrong. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. T.I.A.

If not thats your main problem. And did he give the seeds time to rippen up?if not thats another problem. What color are the beans.? Yeah they were pollinated with DR. The seeds did ripen to where they were falling on their own or dropped off during trimming and the rest were taken as it was being smoked :-) The beans look great brown/dark brown and striped. Yep, 3"s and flowering no exaggeration in a 4 gallon pot. I'll post a pic as soon as I go get some new rechargeables for the cam

Is the ph of the re used soil ok?? When you flushed it did you ph the water??

Either that or the seeds are just shite :P maybe something to do with the fact that they were made by an autoflower??

Yeah they are JD's. I was wondering about that XxK2xX, only waited a couple of weeks for the seeds to dry. I just read somewhere that said to wait a couple of months. Is this true? If it is than that's the problem. :-)
