Difference between top and bottom of leaf trichomes

I have noticed a fairly consistent difference between the bottom of leaves and the top of the leaves. The bottom show a more advanced ripening which tells me to harvest, but the top shows almost no amber and more clear saying wait.
Anyone else see this regularly? - THX!

Your first issue is looking at the leaves for ripeness

check the actual calyx

post up some pics please.

Yup like bk78 said the leaves will mature faster then the buds so you have to check the calyx to really tell. I made the mistake my first grow and went by how the trichs on the leaves looked and I harvested about 2 weeks early and got shit weed.

Oh about the bottom ones maturing faster I've never had it like that always the top ones first and bottom ones take longer I would love to see some pics to see what's up with your plant.

I'll try to get one that represents what I've been seeing but here are some other picture because we love looking at pictures :) these are from 2 different plants.

Well, given a moment of time, different parts of the plant mature at different rates. 5 days ago the plants were a little different, anyway, here are the pictures from the bottom of the leaf. I am not suggesting it is ready, but different than the top.1602365700033.png

Can't help you, but interested in responses :) PS neat one on the microscope camera
Be good to see more of the plants - I thought I was 2 weeks out - yet I'm advised it'll be about 3 times that
