A sativa will give you the head high and indicas give you the couch lock type of high. There are also strains that mix the two. Indicas tend to stay shorter and take up less room than a sativa plant will. From anything I have ever read the plant being more sativa/indica won't affect how easy it is to take care of. But there are certain strains that are better for beginners then others. A good example of that is Northern Lights. NL is said to be very resilient and as such is a good plant for people who are just starting out plus the yields are nothing to scoff at. What I would suggest is to get a little of both and grow a mix, an indica and a sativa. That way you can figure out what you like best and you will also end up with a nice little buffet!

So many strains out there. I'd recommend Northern lights as well. Specifically Nirvana's Northern lights. -----> http://www.nirvana-shop.com/en/indoor-marijuana-seeds/northern-light-feminized.html

I gave you a link to that strain in a female only (feminized) seed version. That way you will be guaranteed to be able to get a girl right away. The strain is low odor in growth...important. Also the price isn't too bad...

It's considered one of the easiest strains to grow...and it produces a lot of quality herb. It's pretty much a perfect plant.
