Direct oxygen to root zone in soil

I have this experiment i just started today, but would love to hear yalls guess as to if it makes a noticeable difference or not. I prefer growing in soil. instead of buying aerated bag containers i buy large 20, 30 gallon containers and go to town with a soldering iron placing several hundred holes in the container. I then line the container with black lawn fabric to reduce light at the root zone and it just keeps drainage and such much cleaner. I have a large air pump with four ports, i am going to put four direct lines into various holes around the container. My contention is that aeroponics is such a big deal and everyone says how the more oxygen to the roots the better and all the info on air pruning the roots.... how could this not work to create a faster growing stronger plant? I could be completely wrong. who knows it could start a feeding frenzy on the molecular level with too much oxygen to some organic substances and kill my plant. lol

Have fun, ive conciderd pumping 95%O2 to the rootzone to see if it changes anything, cant imagine it will though so i never have. I figure, if you use a light fluffy soil there will be air in the soil unless you flood it and let it sit in water for days. As the water is taken into the plant the air in the soil increases to take the place the water was in. I just dont think that in practice pumping ait to the roots will help. You gotta deal with the pumps, so thats extra noise, ways to clutter uo the area, who knows what.

A good soil mix competes with hydro anyways in yield generally speaking. Hydro can do better, but it can also totally fuck up. Never flooded my house during a soil grow. Never lost a crop when the power went out for a few days. If ya want more flowers just add more light, a 100watt air pump vs 100 watts more light id bet 5 bucks on the light.

You could not have been more correct. My experiment lasted all of 15 hours lol. I was thinking that the electricity usage by the pump coupled with the annoying constant noise just wasn't or couldn't be worth it. I agree on the soil. I enjoy mixing up a good batch of soil. You seem knowledgeable on the subject could you give me some feed back. i am using roughly 15-20 gallon heavily aerated container with light soil. Do you give your plants 50-75% NPK nutes? i am trying to find a balance with GH Flora Series micro,grow, bloom, seaweed, and molasses. by mid flower i have them on only grow and bloom and max out at aprox. 3-4 teaspoons of grow and bloom once a week. I dont know if i should push more or not ? this pic is day 10 in flower or Ak48.

Cant see any photo, but ive had good results with the gh line, but dont use it anymore. I just start with a really small amount, and add more as the plants grow. Start with a drop and then a dribble over time. I dont remember how much i was using in flower but i still use the micro in veg and while i just pour out the bottle these days id guess i only use a half teaspoon to a teaspoon max per gallon. I dont think youll want to be using the grow farther into flower than 2 weeks or so but i dont remember the npk on the grow.
