Discoloration and curling

I am growing this plant on CFL lights in a closet. It's in FF Ocean Forest in a five gal bucket with holes for drainage. I am not using additional nutrients yet.

The very top leaves are not uncurling, and one leaf has gone a very light green over half of its surface. The plant also ate its first set of leaves.

What do I need to do here? What ph am I looking for with this soil type?

Posted from mobile, pictures will be added soon.

It's real hard to give constructive advice w/o pics, but try for a ph of 6.0 until you know for sure. You didn't say what type of plant it is. If it is starting to turn light green i think it might be time to add your nutrients. Start at 1/2 of what is called for at first and see how they act. What do you mean by "ate it's first set of leaves"?
You arent' going to get any specific advice w/o details. Good luck. Add some pics. Will check back.
