distance from light

so I have a timber grow lights 4vl.... they say it's a 600 watt hid equivalent and pulls 400 watts from the wall... Dan from timber says to hang 12"-18" during flower... my girl is week 5 of flower and she keeps getting 6'-8" from the light.... i haven't noticed any adverse affects from it yet but this is my 1st led grow... anybody else see anything?

You're risking a burn with that much time. I'd do something about it, if possible. Or do nothing and maybe get lucky?
 
Well i still have a lil room to raise the light but if she's still going to go vertical and i don't see any adverse affects then i don't wanna raise the light yet. I just wanted opinion on if this is normal or if the light is weaker than advertised. Timber lights have good reviews from what I've researched so i don't feel it's weak but I don't know for sure.
 
Her stems are pretty stiff now and I already have it in 2 scrog nets. Just figured by week 4 the stretch would've ended by now.
