distilled is better because it's almost exactly 7.0 across the board, but sometimes drinking water varies. If you use drinking water, Aquafina has a ph of around 6.7 6.8.

Distilled. Drinking waters vary greatly and unless you PH test every jug, you have no idea what you will end up with.
