This question is aimed at those of you who have built your own cloners and dealt with slow drip leaks coming from the lid of your tote, as a result of water collecting on the lid of the tote and running toward the edge and eventually dripping out and over the side, pooling on the ground, which is not only annoying because it means refilling the tote like once a week and possible issues with the pooling water.
Here are illustrations explaining the issue i am referring to!

and here is what i would like to do. I would like to use a heat gun and turn the edges of the tote upwards and just flip the lid over to copy the design that EZ cloners have in order to avoid the dripping issue. Im not sure if this is possible or will work with my rubbermaid totes, which is why im posting to see what possible remedies you guys have come up with for this issue.
Here is an illustration of what i mean by turn the edges up for those of you who dont know what an EZ cloner design looks like.

Please let me know, I would like some feedback before i try this to see if there is a possibly easier or better "fix" to the problem!
