DIY Nutes?

Hey folks, a part of me resents forking out serious bucks on commercial preparations (your Canna ranges etc. spring to mind) and I was wondering if there were any guides on making one's own nutes. I run a small vineyard and know the cost of urea, calcium nitrate, super phosphate and others, and I also see how cheap Yates' Thrive range is. Surely there's a way to prep nutes at home that will be just as effective as these pricey and cleverly marketed Dutch nutrients?

I'm thinking in terms of hydro/aero.
