Most of you know me as the "Green Poison" guy but after 6 crops of that in a row, it was time for a change- at least for a crop or two. Sharksbreath has been around for a while, but you never really see any good and thorough grow reports on it. Most are incomplete, stopped midway, or whatever but most smoke reports report it's a strong smoke with dense buds, and better grown as a scrog grow. Most let it go to 10 weeks in flowering after a 4+ week veg and it's a heavy feeder while growing. I bought 30 seeds and all but a few popped in 2 days. The extra plant off to the side is in case one of them needs to be replaced. This pic is 12 days since popping thru the soil...... I'll update weekly.

Subbed for this one, Lambsbread has to be an all time favourite of mine, even my father can recall the name being thrown around (and he's old school, as my kids tell me)

i just love the plants that go into it.

GWS was one of my favorite plants for plant structure. benefits so much from topping/lst.

Yup.......my plan is to top 1 or 2 times. I've read grow reports state that their plants grew 4X in flowering, which I'm hoping to limit some. I figure top them around the 3 week mark and then maybe once more closer to flowering. I've never scrogged my room, per se, but I've tied down a few 1000 plants in my day.......

5 days later.....not a fast grower, for sure. But they are healthy and easy to care for. I'm planning on topping each plant on Sunday......

Hum, good question. Today is day 16 since the seeds popped thru. It could be 3 more weeks or so, depending on how they react after the topping and their overall height. Again, numerous grow reports have stated they can grow up to 4X their height when flowered so this has to be considered. Others claimed the stretch wasn't bad at all. I'm working on the netting for support currently so I'm just trying to keep an open mind and let things go with the flow right now......

would depend on the pheno for stretch. my GWS's didnt stretch much. couldnt say what LB does. stretch alot is my guess.. lol

Well, the LB is 100% sativa, so I'm guessing you're right.........monster stretch. I'm still mentally preparing for it. LOL

Yes be prepared, your probably best to so some super cropping befotre the stretch also.

Anything I grow with a very high sativa/indica ratio get's super cropped up until day 10 of flower; My girls learn to respect my wishes early on in life. :o

10 days after flower, on that day everything gets a good heavy super crop (think of cheek pinches from your grandma) and pushed back from the light. It takes about 48 - 72 hours to heal up and start growing again; by this time the flower stretch is usually over, I have never really lost any weight with this method as far as I know.

My last test grow (G-13 Blueberry Gum) yielded just over 9oz under 400W using the same method with only 3 weeks veg time, it most likely did not improve yield but in the short time that the healing is underway I figure I lose 1/4 oz or so but the managability of a nice even canopy and well trained girl is worth it in the end.

I really think how they react to a super cropping depends on the strain. I've had some plants do really poorly with it and others did fine. I think it does delay finish time if done after the light is turned back, soooooo I'll do some pinching tomorrow at 3 weeks veg and see how they react in a few days.....

Let me know..

I just last week did some super cropping on 4 different strains at day 10 of flower they have all seem to come back nicely but you may be right that the finishing time is delayed but I usually let my ladies go 8 - 10 week of flower then 1 week wash so I am on the late end allready. :-P

Well, after some thought, I decided to "fimm" all the plants.......here's a pic at 21 days flowering. Fimming will begin after dinner tonight.

By the way ru, how'd the G13 Blueberry Gum turn out and who's was it?
