Lol i know about vpd, i was wondering what people noticed themselves! VPD cant fully answer this question, but is a huge part in it.

I think they handle dry heat better, but not super dry, I suppose it depends on what stage of growth they are in.

Afghan Kush comes from the Kush Mountain Range "The inner valleys of the Hindu Kush see little rain and have desert vegetation." The further up you go the more the vegetation changes. Similar to that of USA high deserts.
I wouldn't go too dry but seems that some cannabis comes from arid climates. Do they like it though? Idk.

The ideal RH for a given temperature
As the heat rises, so should the humidity for a happy plant

Yeah for sure. I was moreso talking about extremes, it sounds like pot can handle dry heat better overall.
Like 105 at 40% humidity may not kill/stress one, but 105 at 95% would, situations like that (just an example)

yea but at a certin humiditiy she will not burn or dryout but she will not transport nutrients. or even worse if too much humidity and heatyou will get super fast transport of nutrients that will create huge pressures and literally make her "veins" exploide then leaf become fuckedup full of blisters.

I should have asked: Which extreme end of the spectrum of the VPD chart can cannabis plants tolerate best? High vpd or low vpd?

"Leaf boundary layer" may be related to the topic as well. Plants generally do not want to risk too much a loss of water by windspeed or low rH, and thus react the stomatas accordingly.
Though when too high rH transpiration tanks as well. Both will lead to a sub-optimal state.
May also be based on the genetic origin. Equatorial sativas show huge growth but a different architecture from "indica"-based polyhybrids

Yeah man that's what it is dude, in veg they can handle around 60% humidity and in flower you can go as low as 30 - 35% when they are forming fat buds
