Do Cops Watch Hydro Shops?

I found a great deal on a grow light at a hydro shop by my house but my neighbor says that they record you on camera and take down your name and give it to the cops. I think she's being paranoid they might watch from the outside but they cant just take footage and watch it can they? And i can always give a fake name.

FYI 400w dual Halide/Hps ballast, Econo wing reflector, Halide lamp, Cool tube, for $200 flat.

i have never had to give any info when buying supplies always pay with cash and never park at the place because they can watch people coming out but i doubt that the shops turn in info on people buying eq

ya dude. shes just being paranoid. why would the hydro shop peeps call the cops on their customers? think about it logically for a second. dont use a credit card, pay in cash. park down the street etc.

It would be pretty bad for business to narc out your customers. My local shop is staffed by very helpful and knowledgable folks, that are more paranoid than most of their clientelle.
