Ive heard of it. Beer also has yeast. So the only concerns I would look into would be mold issues. Or maybe alchohol content being a problem. Ive only heard of beer not vodka. Lol. I'm sure theres someone here that has tried it tho.

Just spotted a grow where they're using Flat* beer mixed with water... and seems to work well........

Still Dunno about the vodka...

as far as i know, plants are straight edge..
i don't see what good beer would do, and vodka would more then likely kill any friendlies in the soil, not to mention what it might do to the plants..

Well I have plenty of nice Lovely Nutes for my Lovely Ladies! They'll be having some Guano, some Seaweed, some Canna, some Molasses... they'll have a varied diet... but I'm thinking I'll test this beer thing on one of them...as far as i know, plants are straight edge..

didnt I read somewhere that if you Foliar Feed with fizzy stuff it gives them CO2 or sommat thru the leaves... so maybe just chuck a beer over the plant every now and then... hahahahaha .... NO I wouldn't dare treat the ladies that way....!! God only knows how she'd exact her revenge...!! (horrifying thoughts)

I bet it could be good. Roots don't like co2, so flat beer would be best, the small amount of alcohol in beer will have no effect and the yeast in beer will make happy microbes. Imo just go out and buy some brewers yeast and gets some earthworm castings. Breed some fungal creatures and Feed your vegging plants . I like fungal teas for veg and bacteria for flower. I am happy with my results and I could show you but rollitup must of banned me from posting nude pics lol he I can't post any though. Frustrating. Later garfield.

I only use Beer outdoors ! When I'm gone too long, cups of beer next to my pots (not in it) attracts snails and other little beasts instead of heading to my plants and eat 'em !... just wondering... was just chatting to someone who says they give their plants beer & vodka ....

hey if you've got things like sea weed and guano you can make teas pretty simply. get one of ecoplus's smallest commercial air pumps (≈30 bucks with shipping) some air tube and air stones, and a 5 gal bucket. I'm sure you've got some old nylons around, check out the recipes and mix up a batch. its as easy as a handful of ewc and black strap molasses bubbled for 30hrs
so as long as your trying beers, you may as well brew up at least that simple EWC tea

Oh for Gods sake! Their NOT plant enzymes!! As far as piss goes. Yes, piss or urea IS used to supply N. But only buy diluting it at like 10:1 AND it should sit and "brew" (pun intended) for a couple of days. Human Urine is like 11-2-1 NPK, BUT the SALT content of human pee reach's FAR into unacceptable levels (even when cut down) for potted plants in our line of growing. Urea is used for N by many of our nutrient manufacturers! I do NOT use nutrients based on urea for N in my synthetic grows! I don't have salt build up issues and don't have to do any kind of "flush" until the wash. Read your labels and avoid the "pissy" UREA!
Go piss on your plants OUTDOORS where you can water them large amounts and wash the salt away.
