Do I need a carbon filter?

I have a grow room 4x4x8 in garage out in county
Don't care if theirs a smell....
Do I still need to run a filter?

Was going to run intake 4 inch duct to garage air vent on wall prob 8ft run with screen mesh

If you have no problem with the smell of cannabis being vented then you do not need a filter.

But use a filter on incoming air.

[/QUOTEi didn’t use a filter at my last house and the smell went all the way up the block probably noticeable nearly 100 yards away toward the end when the plant count kept going up. Took a long time for anyone to tell me that it was that bad. I was nose blind
