Do i need both a male and female to produce smokeable buds? or just a female?

Do i need both male and female plants if i want just one plant?
difference if they are autoflowering?

You smoke the female flowers, or buds.

You can make hash out of potent males.

just a bitch....the dude will just pollenate the bitch and make it produce seeds...which would mean not as potent buds

Oh yea, I forgot to mention, males pollinate females making the females produce seeds instead of bud. This can be good or bad... usually bad, unless you're a breeder or just need more seeds.

Grow the seeds out, check early in the stages for the preflowers. For females usually 2 tiny white hairs struting out from the stem. For males you'll see that dreaded bunch that looks like coconuts. Male.. get read of it unless you want seeds..If the plant is seedless then it will be better.

thanks, im just about ready to do all of this, do i need to fully grow out a male and female to pollinate and produce seeds? how do u polintae just rub em together?
can i take them and do this at the end of veg? or beggining of flowering?
