do i need intake + out take using tents

im starting a new grow using a tent bt im not sure how to set it up?? this will be my second grow bt the first one was set up in a room ! so how dop i set a tent up?? obviously i need my light an fan in there bt how do i arrange the air flow? do i have air just sucking in?? or just blowing out ? or do i need both air blowing in and another blowing out? on doing the room this is how i done it air blowing in one side annd an extractor sucking out from the otherside bt that seems lyk alot of equipment for a tent which is only 1m x 1m by the way, im sure its just one fan i need bt which way do i need it blowing out or sucking in?? also im not sure how to use the smaqll space best ?wheather to cram in as many plants as i can which is only abt 9 proberly or to just do 2-4 an get them as big as possible??? plz can someone help as im already to set up just cnt figure out the best way to !!!

you can use one 4 or 6 inch inline fan for a 250 to 600w HID to extract/suck the warm air close to the lights out of the tent
removing air like this from the tent will cause a negitive presurie inside the tent, the walls of the tent will suck inward
this will force new air to come rushing into the tent from an inlet(hole) 6-8 inch hole near the bottom of the tent
the bottom is where the cooler air sits

when the inlet hole low down on the wall is at a right angle to the extractor rather than on opposite walls
it ensures that the air that is pulled in from the inlet is sucked across the whole space of the tent before it is sucked out
forcing new fresh air to rush across the plants

you also want one or two regular house/desk type fans mixing the air around
keep the air moving at all times

I run intake and exhaust to keep a normal atmospheric pressure. The reason I do this is because N will dissipitate faster at lower atmospheric pressure much like a deep sea diver will get the bends if he comes up to fast etc. Also your tent won't be sucking in like that.

Pro-tip: you want negative pressure in your tent; if air leaks, you want it to leak *inward*. In most cases with a tent, you want to blow air outwards and let the air come in passively from the floor level. In larger tents and rooms, you blow air in at floor level while pushing out air faster than what is being blown in.
