do i really need mix spectrum i have all 6500k floros atm but i happen to have a few 5000k cool white laying around would it be better to put one of those in ?

if 6500k promotes foliage growth more so then vertical growth thats kinda what im hoping for cuz im limited in space

to have mixed spectrum you would want the 2700k bulbs with the 6500k bulbs. a 3:1 ratio is a good mix for CFL. You don't have to have a mixed spectrum but it helps out with growth.

Sorry by 3:1 ratio do you mean, 3x2700k bulbs and 1x6500k bulb? Thats what I have.

definitely 3 6500 and 1 2700 you will be best off to keep the 6500 ones in dont bother swapping them to the 5000 but if you can get some 2700 that would help as it has been already said lol good luck

I used a 6500k and 5000k CFL mix for vegging with good results. For what it's worth.
