do my clones have too much foliage?

Hi all,Merry Christmas and a Happy Grow Year.
Yesterday i took 12 clones off of my two mother plants,1 Cheese and 1 AK47.This is my fifth grow and only my second attempt at cloning,the first attempt was 100% successful and I was well chuffed.This time my AK47 plants branches had turned a bit woody but i took cuttings anyway hoping that the roots will sprout.
Now,both plants were really leafy so i cut down most leaves as per pic but what i'd like to know is have i left too many leaves on them or are they looking OK?.Some people say that you should only leave the leaves at the end of the cutting on and get rid of the rest as this makes the clone produce roots quicker(or is that a load of b******s?).
Any advice would be much appreciated.

They look fine to me. The biggest reason for reducing foliage is reducing upkeep engery required to sustain the foliage and to reduce perspiration.

...btw, are they in jiffy's or coco? ...just curious.

...these were cloned and rooted directly into coco and are just about 4 weeks from the day i took them from mom, ...today is potting up day, ...anyway, most of that foliage was there when i stuck the cutting into the coco 4 weeks prior.



...and that's not to say clipping all that foliage off is wrong just that it isn't absolutely necessary, depending on what style of cloning you use.
