Do my plants look big enough for 5 weeks old?

Heat stress at least. See those edges curled up?
Oh right good. This is my first grow so there's quiet a lot of things I'd do differently..and going to do differently on the next grow.. eg leave my hps at least 3ft+ until my plants go into flower.. Not water as often until they get bigger.. don't adjust my ph as my tap water mixed with biobizz nutes comes out at 6.5.. there's a whole list lol. I've got 2 more plants and for some reason there nowhere near as developed as these 2. I'l put some pics on of the other 2

Yes your dead right..I didn't realise this till earlier today.. so ive put my hps up to 4ft.. that should sort the problem out shouldn't it?

Get air moving around them as well.
I've got carbon filter with inline fan set up + 2 6inch clip on fans..they're quiet powerful for how small they are so ive not got them pointed directly at the plants

You must have air on the plants. Enough they move from it suggested. Not wind whipped but air over and around 24/7.

Air directly on the entire plant. They can take it and it strengthens stems.
Ok no problem.. so would the fans blowing directly onto the plants stop the leaf curl aswel as the light being raised to 4ft?

Depends on what the canopy temperature is. If you are getting temps 85+, you will have a hard time combating the heat stress and leaf curl. At that point, you probably would need to install an intake fan to pull fresh, cool air into the tent.
It never really goes past 75..but I've just disconnected the carbon filter from the inline fan..the turned the fan around to pull cool air into the tent..would this be better? I'l attach a pic

^ This is very true. Exhaust out the top. Intake should feed cool air in from the bottom.

Exactly how all of mine are setup. Filter at the very back an at the top.
That's what I thought..it was a friend who told me to set it up like I have done..anyway I've just changed it so the inline fan is at the top connected to the carbon filter.. the temp never goes above 75 and also I've got 2 mini fans..so would I be ok without an intake fan at the bottom?

If the plant has been 5 weeks in that pot, THAT is your size problem. Plants grow very little above grade until the roots are able to reach an inside wall of the pot. They do this naturally so the plant has the support it needs. If that's the case you have been sitting there growing nothing but roots for a month, eh? Start them in a solo cup and transplant into something less than a gallon when the widest leaves are 150% as wide as the cup. I use 3-quart "berry" pots as my intermediate pot and finish them in 3-gallon pots.

My friend does actually grow so I don't know why he told Me to set it up the way he did..shouldnt or listened to be fair..he advised
Nope they was in a small pot for the first 3 weeks.. This is my first grow so I'm unsure if they're big enough for their age or not. They was definatly ready to be transplanted when I did them cos I could see loads of roots once the I removed the small pots
Sounds good Vinny. Only thing I'd mention is don't fall into thinking a pot full of roots means rootbound.
