do new buds stop forming once pollinated?

So I pollinated an outdoor auto with another auto. The seeds are coming in fine however the bud sites that I pollinated seem to have stopped flowering. Also the calyx are swelling really quick.. my question becomes do buds stop forming once pollinated and will the parts with seed in them develop faster? How many weeks does it take a seed to mature in the calyx?

No, it will continue to grow buds and seeds take 6 to 9 weeks to mature depending on conditions
