Do plants in smaller pots tend to finish faster?

I have two plants of the same strain, one in a 5 gallon, and one in a 2 gallon, and even though they're the same age, the smaller plant's buds are more visibly mature, shot through with far more red. Is it plausible that it is actually going to ripen faster as a consequence of this?

I would think so. I always use 5 gallon pots but once I had a couple plants in one gallon pots so I added them in and they would dry out quicker needing feedings more often and the plants in the one gallon pots did seem to finish a week or two sooner and these were all the same strain "ATF"....
My guess is the bigger plant takes longer to break down the food and if you are feeding them the same the bigger one may be slower because it has less food available... Could be wrong but that was my experience. Smaller pots dried quicker=more feedings=finished faster...

I'm also wondering if it's a temperature thing. That plant is closer to the outer wall/window in the tent. I know less massive plants in general are more sensitive to cold. Maybe there's contributing factors?
I'll report back on how it goes!

I got 4 plants growing in 1 gallon and the one strain that was supposed to be ready 10 days ago is still taking forever so yea i think with smaller pots they can still take forever. And if smaller plants actually matured quicker i couldnt imagine if i used a 5g so theough this little experience i dont think thats true.

IF THERE SEEDS THEN THAT'S WHY... EVERY SEED, ANIMAL, HUMAN ARE ALL DIFFERENT.... EVEN IF THERE CLONE IT STILL WEILL BE DOWN TO ROOTS AND HOW THEY DRINK...
IF YOU PLANT 5 CLONES FROM THE SAME MOTHER AND YOU USE 1GALLON POT UP TO 5 GALLON POTS LIKE 12345 ALL WILL BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT IN FINISH... IF YOU USE ALL 5G PTS THEN THEY WILL ALL STILL FINISH DIFFERENT AND THE SAME FOR SMALL POTS... IF

ROOTS OR GENETICS... IS MY OPINION AND I HOPE IT HELPS G
Please don't post in all caps. It makes it really hard to read.

I have two clones right now from the same plant that are visibly different, as in one has pairs of fan leaves et al. with bilateral symmetry at each node, and the other has sets of three leaves that are roughly radial at each node. Same seed, same generation of clone, from the same plant. They just came from different locations.
Plants are weird, man. Lots to figure out.
