Do the glowing CFLs mess up 12/12?

noob question... I noticed some of them glow green, and some glow red, after they have been shut off.. Does this screw up a 12/12 light cycle? Wondering if they put off any lumens at all or what..

Not anymore than the moon does at night. Light leak would not be an issue and if you are worried just unplug them when you turn them off.

never herd of this and been growing with cfls for years

maybe you live in some high energy field
under power lines

I can also say I have some 26w 6500k bulbs that do glow green when they are turned off.

Shit I have 935 watts of cfl right now and they dont do that. You must have some funky power fluctuations to get the glowing thing....

like they said it should affect it anymore then the moon light.
