Do these roots look normal?

So I finally chopped a small auto after 18 weeks of being confused. Grew in a 3gal fabric pot under a HLG 320 LED, in 100% Ocean Forest….I regret not adding perlite.
Anyway, she was very early to begin flowing….like day 25-26, which means she flowered for almost 15 weeks.
She was looking fully ripe 2 weeks ago but no ambers. I waited and waited and finally some started to show. Still not the percentage that I targeted but my leaf situation was getting dire.
Anyway, I was curious to see the roots and was surprised by how little was there.
There were a few very thin strands that broke off and stayed in the soil but that little root ball in the pic is 90% for sure. I expected more.
The plant was small but the buds swelled up and are as dense as any…..heavy little rocks for sure.
So what’s the deal with these roots? Normal ? Terrible….and if so, why I wonder??
Thanks to everyone who put up my many issues and questions over the last 18weeks. She has two sisters that are still under the light….another week and they’re whacked. CC37AB2F-7010-486E-A0FF-A7F758290493.jpeg9C73E022-D161-40CC-B4D9-791C45822085.jpeg

More roots=more fruits.

No, that's not a healthy root mass for a completed auto. My autos fill out the 3 gallon pot completely. Not giving the pot a heavy enough watering each time would be my guess. You need to give the media a good soaking so their aren't dry pockets where the roots just avoid and water becomes hydrophobic to. If doing salt nutes you should be seeing a small amount of run off every watering and never letting the plant go completely dry with either of organic or salt nutes.

Decent grow considering. Roots as stated should of been better but looks like you kept her going. Btw thanks for supporting the 2nd lol
