I agree with Hood. Like my rez holds 6 gallons at "full operating levels". When the water starts dropping (assuming you have a PH meter/TDS meter), get your PH and PPM readings. If the PPMs are high, but your water level is low, then that means your ladiez are drinking more than they are eating. If the PPMs and the water is low, then your ladiez are eating and drinking both. Basically the plants will let you know when you have it right
Set a PH RANGE of 5.5-6.5 and watch em grow. If they spot or have burnt tips, then you know your nute solution may be too strong for them at this point of their growth. So basically just check em everyday, see how the PPM and water levels look, always try to keep your rez full, and remember UNDER NUTING IS BETTER THAN OVER NUTING! Hope this helps ya out.
