Do you pull apart your top colas at harvest?

Curious if you guys chop the big monsters off, dry, then pull apart the individual buds into jars or do you leave the big ol' chunks intact? I personally pull everything apart so the weight is pure bud. I don't sell though.

I chop down to the node size except for the very tip usually has a few nodes to it cuz it gets harder to separate

I do the same.
I used to think it cool to be able to pull out a big donkey dick at parties, but that sorta defeats "Rule #1".

I've been known to put a few specimens in gal Mason jars.

People like the look of big buds, but it really doesn't matter.

I keep everything intact, people love it when they get a big fat one in the bag

When I notice that the top colas are maturing a little faster than the rest, then when I trim ill leave most of the top colas bigger so i can identify them after they've cured. I typically end up keeping the biggest colas. I grow for personal stash but do have a little excess to get rid of.

I cut mine down into clusters after dry but before I jar for personal use.

Everyone should at least pull the clusters apart at harvest and inspect the main stem area to make sure there is no mold growing in there. I found some on my last grow and was lucky to find it before it spread throughout the entire cola.

I used to keep them intact but now pull them apart to reduce risk of mold.

Yep, I cut mine off the main stem after just a few days. When my main colas are too fat, it can get moldy between the buds.
