Hello RIU friends!
i have two plants (i believe they are Green Crack) that i found in a bag of buds. I originally started with 7 and had to downsize to 4 due to space concerns and 2 ended up being males, so yea..... but thats behind me and Ive moved on and I'm focusing all my attention to my 2 girls.
i vegged them in a small 2x2 cab under 500 watts of cfls, while my flower chamber was under construction, they flowered their first week in the same chamber and i was finally able to move them up to the bigger 6X6X6 flowering room with a 400watt HPS setup. i own a 600Watt bulb i want to use but I'm in the process of fixing some ventilation issues in the room when i use the bigger bulb.
The tallest one is 36" tall, followed by the other one standing at a 26" tall....... the bigger one has always been the tallest and bushiest of all the plants i planted, it was also the one that pre flowered first.
they are about to start their 3rd week of flowering and I'm starting to see some nice buds forming all over them.
the temperature has always been a steady 76-80F day 70-73 at night in the room, they are potted in FFOF soil in 2 gallon pots.
i have fed them a fertilizer mix recommended to me by my local hydro store guys, and i recently switched to Floratech's Recipe for success kit because i got ahold of 23 free kits!!!! lol don't ask how. the plants seem to be liking Floratech's nutes.
my air cooled reflector allows my plants to stay about an inch form the glass or about 2-3 from the bulb no problem. the walls are painted flat white and i have some styrofoam squares coated with mylar to reflect light where there is no walls.
i try to make the most use of the light so the plants are cornered in an area that is about 4X4 and i use the mylar squares to make a little reflective chamber.
i know that there's probably no way ill get 1 gram per watt.....
but do you guys think i could be able to pull off .35 - .50 grams per watt? if not how much?
help me out guys, i won't cry if u guys wanna provide some constructive criticism... I'm just tryina get some point of view from your past experiences.
is there any other techniques or stuff i could do to the plants to help me increase my yield? lollipoping? pruning? supplemental light? plant steroids?
thank you so much in advance guys!!!
