Does all cured bud turn kind of tan/brown?

These smell and taste delicious, so Im kinda ruling out the bud rot theory as sure would affect taste etc

Thanks for teaching me how to dry properly. Just completed 18 day dry and jarred up. No Boveda for the first time.Except when its dry and how to tell without boveda of a hygrometer....
One of us seems to know more tgan the other on this subject, i wonder who that is hmmmm lolol

And did the taste and smell start coming through after a week hanging? At day 18 you had some tasty finished product?

No it doesn't affect smell and taste unless it's bad. I just had some starting on my buds in October because the humidity was so high here. If it took a while for them to turn tan then it's probably just from curing or uv like renfro said.

Strain was Auto Blueberry Domina. The "green odor" dissipated after 6 days and 4 days later the buds started revealing their true essence and the house smelled great (left grow room door open throughout dry). I vaped and am extremely pleased. Not smart enough to describe taste profile and aromatics, but I haven't experienced it prior to this process. Decarbed 13 grams in my Nova for tincture and edibles and was surprised at the decrease in moisture that usually accumulates under silicon cover and in the top. look up side by side comparisons of cures with and without boveda packs. theres some golden hues for sure after a bit. Also ive heard kevin jodrey talk about this in a seminar or video on growing somewhere. It can definitely be a sign of degradation/age

I had to refill my smaller Pura Vida jar (it's actually a hand selected clone only cut by Bodhi), so I took a pic of some of the nugs. He has seeds of the strain now though. This was jarred 1-15-19, so about 11 months and still pretty green. It has been kept out of any UV like Renfro suggested and has been kept pretty cool.

seems not as green as it would of been as the Chlorophyll has been slowly eatin away in the curing.
Everything I have aged has gone less green.

With that humidity pack you dont need that meter bro those packs are on point. I put one of those same meters in a jar with a 58% pack and it's on the money

I totally agree that as it ages it gets less green which is why I said it's still pretty green, but not it's not nearly as green as it was 11 months ago.
