Does anyone have experiance with a 500w blackstar?

I'm thinking about getting a 500w blackstar and would like to use it through the whole process but now I've been hearing they arn't good for vegging, is this true?

You can use a BS500 to veg. There are better veg panels that's for sure and I wouldn't run it 24/0, but you can veg with BS flowering panels. I've vegged with a BS240 which is very similar to a 500 and Sleezy1 has just started vegging some plants for a SCRoG with 2 BS500s. Search is your friend .
