Does customs send letters for confiscated seeds?

Does customs still send notification letters for confiscated seeds? After my order from planet skunk didn't show up, planet skunk emailed me and said customs hasn't sent letters for year. I find it hard to believe this is true. So do people still get letters?

Homeland security sent my TWO letters. I wouldn't be worried about it. When you actually read the letter it will probably relieve your fears. It was saying something like if you received this letter you ordered steroids, meth, weed, seeds whatever. They least serious thing sounded like seeds imo. I wouldn't worry about it. I have gotten more than one.

it really is nothing to worry about, they cant prosecute you for anything. It isnt like they confiscated alot of weed or something really illegal.Seeds would be a waste of time for them to hound you over.

Have been hearing that customs is trying to stage a recent crackdown that jives with all the recent Fed raids on dispensaries in Colorado and elsewhere. I recd. seeds in stealth packaging a few weeks ago that had been opened by Customs and resealed. With a label from Customs, signed by an agent, and stating the package contained no items restricted by legislation from entering the US. Luckily the stealth the seed bank used worked quite well and they missed the two packs of souveniers tucked away inside. I've read from other posts that what's happened if they find anything is you get a letter saying to come down to the local PO and pick up your package. Some say they've mustered the balls to show up with green card in hand and got their seeds by signing for them. But others have argued this is a lie because Customs and the PO are Fed, and such is impossibly illegal for any such signing for seeds would not be allowed by law. So conflicting accounts abound.

In essence I agree. But the fact remains that MJ seed possession is a crime under Fed statutes. Not that they can't, but likely they won't prosecute. But they would still confiscate the seeds. It's like a game, and you can only hope the stealth packaging will stand up to the test. And it would behoove any seed bank that wants future orders to try and sustain the chance most orders arrive safely at their destination.

To answer your question: yes, Homeland Security still sends a letter along with the empty envelope. Planet Skunk is just saying exacty what a bank of this type should say in order to deflrct the fact that they suck ass.

Importing any type of seed into the US is illegal. It has to do with invasive species.
