i know that pruning larger fan leaves can slow bud growth, due to the fact that larger fan leaves play an essential role in nutrient uptake as well as photosynthesis.
i am a cfl grower, i have still pruned some of my larger fan leaves just so i can get my lights close enough to the buds, but i still frequently burn leaf tips as well as whole leaflets sometimes.
what im wondering is, would i be better off pruning the whole fan leaf, or just letting it burn?
