Does such a device exist?

I don't know the name of such a device, but I'm imagining it. A thermostat bar that reads the ambient temperature and can turn devices on or off (AC or heater) when a temperature threshold is met. Does something like this exist on the market?

Asking because I live in a climate that gets 'warmer' during the day and then by evening the mercury plummets. Staying on top of my temps is going to be a challenge.

Very much so. Inkbird were the first to market that I'm aware of. I used them for a while until AC Infinity rolled out their lines of products. I've been using their products for a couple of years now and am very impressed. Off the top of my head, I've got six of their devices in my tent. Highly recommended.

Yea but if you mean for things using more than 15a then idk. A temp controlled outlet by inkbird.
This works well but if it is not close to the router it will be finicky and can lose its connection and then it has to be synced again. If the wifi signal is strong it works great.

Huh, lol I dont use any wifi outlets. Not tech savvy I just use the controller outlets for rh, one dehuey one for huey. I have a aftermarket temp controller for heat seperate.

I didnt know they can be phone controlled if thats what you mean. I havent looked into programing feom a phone.

So yea for OP if its something like a 600w mini split and a 600w heat source I thought this was either an easy answer or harder.

I use an Inkbird ITC-308, available with or without wifi.

Thanks everyone, this device here is precisely what I'm looking for! And for a steal, too. I was expecting to have to pay around $100+ for the device. $50 is more than doable.
