what would the difference in yeild between a 1000w generic brand and an eye hortilux? just wanna see if its worth investing in a better bulb

I used to think that just cause my regular bulbs would produce bud that I was doing fine. I wasn't pulling more than 2 oz per plant, but i was in smaller pots also. I switched to a hortilux and just by chance was in bigger pots and new bulb pulled 7 oz per plants on 3 plants. I can't blame it all on the pot size and will never look back.

haha alright im kinda thinking of investing in a hortilux. got another question. will this ballast "http://www.hydrofarm.com/pb_detail.php?itemid=9872" run a cmh bulb?

I am not 100% sure of this, but from what I just read it says...CMH bulbs cannot handle the frequencies of digital ballasts
Do some reading up on it. I have no idea , just a quick search and that is what I came up with.

So, yes some digital ballasts do run cmh bulbs.

haha i have heard it makes a noticable difference. do certain brands give off more heat than others or is that pretty much generic?

no bullshit. hortilux is way better. you will yield alot more and get denser buds. this I know for a fact

that is dry. and it isn't even a gram per watt. why do you think this is not achievable. some are pulling 1.25 and 1.5 per watt. this isn't a crazy claim here.Is that dry weight or "wet?"
