Does the flowering time period count for flush time?

So my last 3 grows I did the flush time after the 70 days were up on my 10 week strains. They come out fine and been good but if for some reason I've been wasting 3-4 days flushing, that would be something to correct. Opinions, thoughts, and what have you please.

i'm not a big believer in flushing to begin with, but if i were, i'd do it the way you're doing it, take it to their times, then flush for a few days after so that you know that they are at their peak ripeness.. a few days after their recommended pull time is better than a few days short ime..

I usually flush a week before harvest, each day. Although it depends on what type of nutes you are using and how often. Given that nature takes care of all this on her own, sometimes the best course of action is nothing at all. Last year I only used nutes sparingly, even for flowering, as I had made my own fortified soil to begin with, dressing as needed. In the end everything turned out fine.
