Does this bud look ready?

This is a bud that i picked off of one of my outdoor plants before i left home for college. I cant tell if the plant is ready for harvesting so i am hoping that someone can tell me based off of this picture. The little guy came off of one of the bottom branches. The crop is in its 9th week of flowering. This is the only picture i have from back home so bare with me.

if the trichomes look as good as the bud, then it looks pretty fine
checking with a scope/loop would close the deal

If that is a bottom branch I would say it is overdone. Looks ggood though.
