Does this look like the beginning of bud rot? Should i chop these nugs before it spreads?

This plant was a mutant/stunted from day 1 and now it looks like 3 top nugs have some of what looks like to be the beginning stages of bud rot. It's a ugly yellowish dead ish color circled in blue, I spotted 3 nugs so far. Should i chop the bud rot looking nugs before it spreada to other plants? The last pic is a main picture of the plant to show what it should look like.

Rot would be on/in the bud, not the leaves. Aside from maybe some mushiness, it looks gray to me.
