Does volcanic rock dust last a whole grow?

I’m almost 4 weeks into my plant being transplanted in it’s soil (coot’s mix) and I’m wondering if I should top dress with rock dust and or gypsum. Both were mixed in the soil from the beginning, but I’m think of my micronutrients for the flowering.

any advice is appreciated

I’m not in a no-till situation, so I remove most of the roots from my soil (put roots in my worm bin). I usually amend with 1/2 of coots recipe, so I should bypass the minerals?

Top dress with malted barley powder instead. Maybe some kelp neem or any amendments.

The minerals last for a long time. And really only see just starting to become available.

Topdress with ewc over your meals and nutrients.

Also your amendments are only just beginning to become available by first run soil. If you toodress during flower just count it as food for next cycle as well. It’s actually nice cause you don’t have to add more food at recycle and then can use the soil right away or soon after harvest, instead of add more food snd “cooking” again

Exactly. Or that’s what I do at least. Farmers will re mineralize their fields every so often. Usually 5-10 years. So maybe I’d you get to 3-4 years using a soil maybe then.

Haven't used the product. But the word "ROCK ' it's long term. Greensand is the type I've been using. 0-0-3 / 32++ minerals. 3-4 years, with each year that passes. Holds alot of moisture. Hope it helped
