Does weed grow during flowering?

Hey everyone!

I was just wandering does weed grow (in length) during flowering?

Im planning on growing PPP but my grow area is only about 5 feet tall (im hoping as PPP is a hybrid it stays short and pushy) but what i really wanted to know was when should i start flowering to prevent the plant from growing into the light (400W HPS during flowering)

Does anyone know if PPP continues to grow while flowering, if so how much, does it grow at the same rate it does during vegging?

any and all help is welcome :)

Plants will double to quadruple in size during the 1st 3-4 weeks of flower. It really is crazy how much they grow. Using a Screen for SCROG has worked great for me in small spaces with big plants.

any ideas on when i should switch from veg to flowering, i read somewhere you can switch to flowering any time you want as long as the plant is just over 14 inches

i researched a lot, and i was sure it did grow during flowering until i found posts with people saying things like 'thank god my babys stopped growing when they were flowering' and 'of course it doesnt continue to grow during flowering, the plant puts all its energy into producing buds' so i started to become confused, can anyone tell me how much i can expect it to grow?

From what I've learned and read is that during flowering under good conditions your plant will @ least double maybe even triple in size

most strains will be mature {alternating nodes} at 12-18 inches. or in 4-8 weeks from seed depending on sativa or indica traits. clones mature much faster
