:o:lol::lol:. That is absolutely hilarious. I mean I am sorry, I really am, but a dog, and the traces of slobber.
I don't have the expertise to answer your question, but look at his face...he feels bad about it.
I have grown other plants that have been quite destroyed and managed to put out another leaf or two and then keep going but this looks pretttty rough.
He feels so guilty.
He might also have an upset stomach.
It could be worse, when I was younger our teething dogs chewed up a bumper on a caddy and a suburban.

So... I wake up to find that my dog ate every leaf off my sapling... will it still grow? pic 1- pretty leaves. Pic 2- Now. Pic 3- Gucci... the guilty dog
He might have saved you some time wasted, the plant looks pale, probably under fed and UNDER LIT. She was on he 4th node and with the body of a seedling.
how old was she? im guessing 3 weeks plus?

and No, it will not grow.

My neighbor came home one day with like 7 plants.. came to fence and said HERE... HAVE ONE. so I really had zero clue about the plant. I been babying the shit outta her too since reporting. Got her Happy Frog soil and feed and a huge pot... I'm so mad‍♀

There are certain plants/grasses that dogs will seek out when they have an upset stomach. Cannabis happens to be one of them.

I had a pair of Pie Face clones out on my deck last month. My dog decided to defoliate and fim one of them. Five or six weeks later, the one she didn't touch is 6 feet tall. The one she went to town on is 3 feet tall and finally starting to fill back out.

And to the OP - Did you really have to start a thread to ask if that stem you have in a pot is going to recover? I mean, look at it. The answer is obvious.

The other was an old ass weird plant I picked up somewhere and it was dry as shit. Soil drier than an old ladies puss and broken branches and crusty leaves. At least this one stalk is healthy

That's the ultimate defoliation ever....it would be interesting to see if it can recover..... it likely won't but you have nothing to lose by letting it continue

PS: nice looking dog

I for one am happy you made an account to post this. Judging by his pout, it’s clear that Gucci is sorry, so be easy on him. The slobber still on the plant lol that’s priceless. I love how meticulous he was with his defoliation

Sorry to hear about your problem, at least it was a young plant. I think the best thing to do is move on.

I have the same issue with my cat, gotta keep him out of my tent. He goes crazy for pot leaves, couldn't care less about buds.
