Doing okay???

Here are current pictures of my plants. Are they doing okay?? I am thinking I need to get them into larger containers, but not the end ones yet. I will use five gallon pails and put them out side. Think they got out of hand I. The very beginning when I plant them deeper, what about stems and leaves on the bottom part of the plant? Just buy them or should I remove them before planting??
 
I am sorry, I wrote that too fast and didn’t check it. What I said was, in the very beginning I think they got out of hand. I had them too far from the lights. Now, when I re-plant them, you said to go deeper about half the stem, what about the stems and leaves are that are on the bottom do I take them off before I plant do I just bury them. Thank you so much for your help. You don’t know how I appreciate it.

@Herb & Suds is correct, you can do either.
Personally I would remove any growth from the stem that is being buried.........I don't know for fact, but I think it will start growing roots faster where the leaves and grow tips were removed. There is no proof of this.........it's just what I think.
