Don't Get: "S.A.D." this Holiday Season

Yes, we now can blame our lack of energy on getting: Seasonal Affective Disorder or S.A.D. for short, or sad for shorter...

West coast, Ca folk, hell no, you don't get sad, no way jose.... you have the sun shining heck yes you say, I am going to go out and wash and wax my car on this beautiful S. Ca Winter Sunday...

No, East Coast Norther folk, no we get to blame our troubles on being sad, or S.A.D. for longer, or Seasonal Affected Disorder. It's sun shine here also, however, the hose is put away [frozen] it's 24 degrees, No, I am not SAD.... I am going to do something "Else" I am going in a different direction...


Who comes up with this stuff... why do we need to feel like it's a syndrome or issue we have?


There is no SAD here...

Maybe I have a terminal case of L.E.D. [Laugh Effected Day]


Keep Laughing... catch L.E.D. this season!


Have a Stress Free [L.E.D.] time/day...

I've been officially diagnosed with s.a.d., this shit sucks I can tell you that.
Though there is some science that suggests it's a genetic trait that made us hibernate during the winter months way back in our history before we had heated houses and cars, artificial lights, etc.

Just move to a place that doesn't have winter

Seriously though, rainy shitty weather makes me feel bad. I perfer sunshine and warmth year round

Only good thing about Az is winter time is awesome......74 degrees today.Sorry to rub it in but I have to gloat when I can, summer is deadly.

I've been way depressed for about 3 weeks... out of the blue for no reason. Never had any depression issues before. It's been weird and interesting at the same time. Everything hurts all the time. I feel like bursting into tears but I don't. The only thing I can still do is sex. Very little guitar playing. Still following through with my performance commitments. I'm not looking for sympathy... just responding to the thread. And I'll be fine. But this is the oddest thing I've ever been through. I have a lot more compassion now for people who really suffer from depression.

Try and get some sunshine (or grow light) on your skin and or get some exercise. I've had major depression since I was little and those two things really help.

Makes me miss San Diego! Here in tx it's not too bad in the winter tho. Couldn't take more winters in the northeast where I'm from tho. Shoveling snow is pointless!

I've been diagnosed with depression, it runs in my family. SAD is real for me and it's a big part of the reason I'm in this industry; being in and around high wattage lighting makes me feel better.
