Your smoking plastic, man. You think a piece of metal under direct flame isn't going to conduct enough heat to melt that shit? Most head shops sell a glass gravity that looks like a liquor bottle with the bottom chopped off for like 12 bucks, do your lungs and brain a favor.

yea that particular bit looks toxic. I use a glass chillum thru the milk cap. And a piece of chewing gum to seal it up. Mcgyver that shit up. Makes me want to collect up a few hits of resi...

Every glass bowl/slide piece I've had for my bongs has fit perfectly into the mouth of a [gatorade/milk/pepsi/apple juice] bottle with the bottom cut off. No easier way to make a gravity bong.

If you have a head shop around you, buy a small glass slide for less than 10 bucks and you're golden. They usually come with little rubber O-rings too to help seal the hole in your cap better.

Melting plastic has given me some of the best trips of my life. But my brain paid the price. Fuck that bro, don't worry about the resin, worry about the toxic fumes you're inhaling.
